Golden Hand is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth from under- resourced communities by providing transformative youth development programs, providing tangible support to marginalized populations, and advancing environmental conservation. We empower youth through educational success, career exploration, life skills development, and mentorship. We are committed to uplifting marginalized communities by providing direct aid and essential resources, and to advancing environmental conservation through volunteer-driven sustainability efforts and local clean-up campaigns. We foster opportunity, equity, and civic responsibility by delivering hands-on educational programming, academic support, and community-based service initiatives.
Golden Hand envisions a world where every young person, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive, academically, professionally, and personally, while contributing to a more just, equitable, and sustainable future. We believe in empowering youth, uplifting marginalized communities, and protecting our environment through education, direct action, and collective care.
Our goal is to build support systems and programs that empower youth through education and mentorship, provide essential resources to underserved communities, and mobilize young people and volunteers to lead in environmental stewardship. Through our programs, we aim to close opportunity gaps, inspire civic engagement, and foster a generation of leaders equipped to uplift their communities and protect the planet.
Dunyia Mohabbat is the Founder of Golden Hand . As a current undergraduate student attending UC Berkeley, she created this organization in light of seeing the struggles of the Berkeley community and hoping to help make a change. She is committed to ensuring the mission of Golden Hand succeeds in assisting the community and fellow students
